Water Heating Systems

Have you ever been greeted by an ice-cold shower? Have you ever choked upon sipping a drink from the tap? If either of these questions got a “yes” from you, you must understand the importance of keeping your water systems in good condition.

Leave it to Plumber Dallas' elite team to inform you of the workings of your water filtration and water heating systems, and to ensure that they continue to do their jobs. As plumbers and plumbing contractors with technical and practical know-how, we can repair, replace, install, or simply maintain these systems without much trouble.

Water Cooling, Drinking Water Systems

Water enters your home through water supply lines, and thanks to pressurization, it finds its way to your fixtures and appliances. This water, which comes from the main, has already been cooled to serve most household needs. With it, you can wash, flush (toilet water), and most importantly, drink.

If you plan to drink cold water straight from the tap, though, you should install appliances like American Plumber water filters and water softeners in your water supply system to eliminate contaminants. Placing additional filters under your sinks can further this goal. We at Plumber Dallas can do this for you quickly, easily, and at a fair price. Rest assured, we won't harm your plumbing system in the process.

Water Heaters, Water Tank Plumbing

Water from the main also finds its way to your water heater or boiler. Whether you have a gas or electric heater, your heater should be able to hold 40 to 60 gallons of water and heat it to the temperature you set. Once the water has been heated, one or more of your heater's pipes will carry it to connected fixtures and appliances. Your heater's drain valve, located at its base, is used to remove sediments from its inner steel water tank.

There are several safety measures to remember when operating your heater (like maintaining a temperature of 120 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit (49-60 degrees C) with its thermostat and regularly draining its tank), but even if you follow them, your heater may still suffer from various problems like leaks, noise, and sediment build up.

We can provide you with solutions to these and many other problems with your heater or boiler. In addition, we can offer you tips on heater use and maintenance, and information on water tank plumbing.
